Zenith Research Facility (Island)
Species Name: Hypnoflower
Length: 91 cms
Weight: 2267.96 grams
Habitat: Jungle
Common?: Yes
Dangerous?: Yes
Known Information. Hypnoflowers are a species of plant found within the jungles of the island the Zenith Research Facility is situated on. They most resemble the Rafflesiaceae - or 'corpse flower' - of earth.

Hypnoflowers, as the name suggests, are known for hypnotizing their prey with a pulsating pattern of colors across their petals (which appear white as default). When said prey is close enough, they stop the light show only to display a row of deadly fangs around their stigma. These are used to snap around their prey's neck and behead them; brain matter is the most delectable source of food for this flora though they has been known to eat just flesh.
Species Name: Demons
Height: Variable
Weight: Variable
Habitat: Everywhere
Common?: Yes
Dangerous?: Potentially
Known Information. Demons are creatures that are claimed to be a byproduct of Professor Quintalian’s personal experimentation in splicing the genes of different species. It is for this reason that they are wildly variant in height and shape. They are made up of a black, tarry substance and speckles of an unstable red, glowing who knows what. The slime they leave behind taints and kills the land around (but only temporarily, thankfully).

While not outright aggressive, these creatures will attack if they feel threatened or their current 'territory' is encroached on. This is dangerous as it can lead to being demon-touched. What this entails is a demon trying to 'consume' a host in a parasitic nature with the traces left behind in their system. Symptoms include: nausea, fatigue, hallucinations, altered thinking, and if left untreated can be fatal.

They are sensitive to sunlight and therefore most active at night. Additionally, they are weak to water (but resistant to fire) and avoid the beaches. While some may wonder why these demons are left free to roam, Zenith Corporation claims that there is still knowledge in failure and that the demons are good for further research purposes.

Species Name:Coaleselasphorus
Length: 7.5–13 cm (helper), 6-8m (queen)
Weight: 3.1g (helper), 60kg (queen)
Habitat: Jungle
Common?: No
Dangerous?: Potentially
Known Information. An avian hive-mind. The smaller of the group make up the majority and they are herald to a single queen per flock. They connect with her telepathically and follow her instructions to ensure harmonious survival. These tiny birds have razor-edged wings that flap rapidly and keep them suspended in mid-air. They feed on the water content and pulp of the local fruit but have been known to also extract the water from living creatures if they feel threatened.

The queen is a massive bird who commands and protects her smaller subjects. Her lifespan is only about a decade and she will lay eggs only once or twice near the end of it. She raises her young and chooses a suitable offspring to take over her connection to the flock; the others are left to go out and form their own flocks.

Species Name:Dupliphibi
Height: 7.62 — 12.67 cm
Weight: 198.4 — 283.4 g
Habitat: Zenith Research Facility (Tropical Dupliphibi); Cewick (Bright-belly Dupliphibi)
Common?: Yes
Dangerous?: Potentially
Known Information. Small but voracious amphibians that live in moist climes. Dupliphibi are relatively peaceful and mostly harmless, but are poisonous to the touch, much like tropical frogs on other planets.

Curiously, they exhibit the unique trait of asexually reproducing whenever they have consumed adequate amounts of food, leading to periods of extremely high species population. However, natural predators such as the Condramphi keep them within normal levels, much to the relief of those whose villages sit at the edge of their habitats.

Species Name:Condramphi
Height: 1.21 — 1.82 m
Weight: 14.53 — 6.8 kg
Habitat: Zenith Research Facility (Slickback Condramphi); Cewick (Swampskin Condramphi)
Common?: Yes
Dangerous?: Potentially
Known Information. Larger, amphibious reptiles that inhabit mild, moisture-rich areas. Condramphi prey upon smaller animals, most notably the plentiful Dupliphibi, but have been known to form larger packs to take down animals far larger more dangerous than themselves.

Because their diets are primarily comprised of the small, poisonous amphibians with which they share their habitat, Condramphi have, in turn, developed a toxic membrane of their own, and can secrete venom of a similar composition.

Species Name: Serpiferrobath
Length: 9.14 — 12.2 m
Weight: 90.72 — 124.74 kg
Habitat: Zenith Research Facility (Ocean Depths)
Common?: No
Dangerous?: Yes
Known Information. A serpentine creature that feeds upon smaller animals that live along the ocean floor. Though rarely seen and thought to be endangered, Serpiferrobaths are fiercely territorial, and known to become immediately hostile to anything that impedes upon its domain.

The scales of this leviathan reflect what little light filters down from above in such a way that it can hide amongst the features of the ocean floor, and are hardened from its time in the deep, which makes them as strong as steel. When hunting Serpiferrobaths, one must aim for the tender flesh behind their fins so as not to have their spears repelled.

Species Name: Korrosicaenus
Length: 0.914 m
Weight: 13.6 kg
Habitat: Unique/Off-world
Common?: No
Dangerous?: Yes
Known Information. Strange dog-like creatures, whose coats are a rich purple. They are unlike any other creature on Zhautas, and rumoured to be from another world entirely.

Their jaws possess considerable crushing power, aided greatly by unnaturally sharp fangs of deep obsidian. In addition, their saliva is a strong, corrosive toxin, said to dissolve flesh and bone alike in mere minutes.

Nevrione
Species Name: Nymvulpae
Length: 23 cm — 69 cm
Weight: 680 g — 1.5 kg
Habitat: Nevrione (Nymvulpae Daeneus); Ajorn (Nymvulpae Lagocaecro); Leba (Nymvulpae Macorbena)
Common?: Yes
Dangerous?: No
Known Information. Shy creatures that bear some small resemblance to the foxes of other worlds, albeit with larger compound eyes and thinner, elongated snouts. Their fur is very fine, and valued for its superb softness.

Their diet tends to lean toward the native fruits and flowers of their region, with their snouts perfectly suited to poking into them for their nectar and juices, though it is not uncommon to see a nymvulpae attempting to fish at a watering hole or oasis.

The nymvulpae daeneus of Nevrione most closely resemble red foxes, with rich orange fur giving way to deep blacks at the tips of their ears and paws; the nymvulpae macorbena of Leba blend in with the sands of the desert, with light tans and bands of darker browns; and the nymvulpae lagocaecro of Ajorn bear striking white and red fur, not unlike the Briima hunters that populate the region.

Species Name: Nydroptaera Spheca
Length: 200 — 260 mm
Weight: 63 g
Habitat: Nevrione
Common?: Yes
Dangerous?: Yes
Known Information. Highly antagonistic, wasp-like insects with crimson exoskeletons and a wingspan of up to 390 mm. They are territorial and exceedingly hive-minded, and when one angers a single one of these terrifying bugs, one runs the risk of death by a thousand stings.

Not even in death does one find an escape from these menaces; when prey is felled by these tiny winged terrors, the whole of the hive then takes shelter within its corpse until it rots, after which they all travel to their next victim like a blood-red cloud.
