May, 2018

✦ Good morning, volunters, and welcome to the first arrival ship! The Zenith Corporation is happy to have you here. The featured section of the ship this month is the gym. Upon arriving on Zhautas, it is discovered that the main research facility has moved. Volunteers have to hike a day and a half through humid heat to find their way to where it is now. Oh, and, looks like someone forgot to feed the carnivorous hypnoflowers. Oops!

June, 2018

✦ The first group of volunteers settle into their new life on Zhautas. The Zenith Corporation hosts facility tours and a welcome bonfire in order to help everyone feel a bit more at home. However, an unexpected guest crashes the party and causes things to take a dramatic turn. An unauthorized ship is shot down and crashes far to the north of the research facility. Professor Quintalian places a barrier up to keep volunteers close but assures everyone search parties will be sent out as soon as possible to find any survivors.

✦ The survivors of the downed ship make contact through hacking R.O.S.I.E's network authorization. They request aid but the connection is terminated as R.O.S.I.E fights to gain control again. The results of this hacking is the resident helper AI glitching out for quite some time afterwards.

✦ A few volunteers are asked to take part in a search and rescue mission for the surviving crew of the downed ship. They are warned that the jungle is deadly and to be careful during this expedition. After the first day, the volunteers split off into small groups to cover more ground and ensure that all the survivors are rescued.

✦ The second arrival ship finds its way to Zhautas. The featured section this month is the gardens. Due to R.O.S.I.E. malfunctioning since her hacking, the rooms for new volunteers aren't ready and a sleepover is hosted in the largest common area available.

July, 2018

✦ The new housing is finally completed! Partially, anyway. While new volunteers have to remain in the facility, the ones who arrived the month prior are moved into their new homes. Staff ask volunteers new and old for strange items claiming that Professor Quintalian is behind the requests.

✦ The first experiment is announced. It's emphasis is on social bonding via sportmanship and competition. There are sports tournaments, a plethora of water-front activities to choose from, and drinks with cute little umbrellas in them. Professor Quintalian is also hosting a scavenger hunt. It's fun in the sun but there are plenty of options for the nightowls too! Additionally, caves are available for spelunking but beware of the monsters that lurk in their depths.

✦ Professor Quintalian has a special announcement for volunteers. There's a new member of the staff named Liam Thatcher who has the unique ability to shapeshift into anyone volunteers would like.

✦ The third arrival ship finds its way to Zhautas. The featured section this month is the pools. Due to a severe storm suddenly forming, the list of new volunteers wasn't transmitted in time and thus their living situation isn't sorted yet. Their temporary lodging is tents out on the beach. How nice!

August, 2018

✦ The permanent housing has been expanded upon! This is also the first month that volunteers from the first wave of arrivals are required to attend therapy. The resident therapist is a lovely lady by the name of Shiori. Just like every Zenith Corporation employee, she's here to help.

✦ Professor Quintalian broadcasts his hearbreak to the network. His girlfriend left him and he's not taking it so well, it seems. As a result, he lists some scavenger hunt addendums that are a little more intense than before. Jeneviere attempts to do damage control but it doesn't go quite as well as he had hoped.

✦ After some resistance from R.O.S.I.E., the tether protocol is initiated. While it was originally intended to be a rescue function, long-term usage has adverse side effects. Nausea, fever, chills– those are just the tip of the iceberg of ill effects that volunteers begin to feel the longer they're separated from someone they're connected to or go without turning in one of the scavenger hunt items. At the worst, volunteers experience temporary hallucinations and psychosis.

✦ Though the tether protocol is deactivated, volunteers begin to mysteriously disappear. They are only gone for a few hours at a time. When they re-appear, however, they seem to suffer from wildly varying ailments. No one knows quite what's going on but there are suspicions as to who might be at the heart of this issue...

✦ The fourth arrival ship finds its way to Zhautas. The featured section this month is the food court. While the bar attached to it doesn't have any alcohol, it does have rumors for volunteers to discover. Due to an expansion of the medical wing, housing for the volunteers isn't quite ready. They'll get it sorted out by morning though! Their temporary lodging is the west wing where they can fall asleep to the sound of experiments being conducted.

September, 2018

✦ The newest batch of volunteers has arrived! Unfortunately, most people don't seem to be feeling very friendly or keen to instill hope in the newcomers that life on Zhautas is as great as advertised. It doesn't help that the weather is also terrible. It's just a bummer all around.

✦ Hoshiko, the now sole survivor of the ship shot down during the first month, addresses the network for the second time. This time, she isn't asking for aid but instead announcing her plan of attack to steal back an artifact that the Zenith Corporation has taken from her. While her scheme puts volunteer's in dangers way, some seem to think there's something to this woman's plan and assisting her.

✦ Making good on her promise, all Hell breaks loose as demons are riled up into attacking the main research facility in a ravenous horde. Volunteers are successful in their attempt to defend it against Hoshiko's machinations but there are still moderate damages. Meanwhile, Hoshiko and a select few volunteers infiltrate the research facility's secret underground tunnel system in search for her lost artifact as well as information on the Zenith Corporation.

✦ The fifth arrival ship finds its way to Zhautas. The featured section this month is an aquarium. It is filled with all sorts of alien life, both dangerous and tame, and makes for a very interesting display. Reconstruction efforts of the main research facility are underway and volunteers are encouraged to help out. They might even get to hear some interesting theories on Hoshiko and what happened to her after the heist...

✦ R.O.S.I.E. announces a special broadcast in which the leaders of Zhautas' nations convene to invite volunteers to their respective homes. A poll is put up for volunteers to vote in to decide where they would like to go most. After one week, it is decided that everyone will be traveling to Nevrione. This is Jeneviere's home country and he appears to have extremely mixed feelings about the decision.

October, 2018

✦ The newest group of volunteers has arrived! It seems to be a hopping good time, too, as the citizens of Nevrione have come to escort volunteers to their home country. Jeneviere and Professor Quintalian appear to be having relationship problems but nothing that a good punch to the face doesn't seem to fix.

✦ Volunteers are awoken by a message from R.O.S.I.E. and ushered to a bullet train terminal that will see them swiftly to their destination of Nevrione. Once there, R.O.S.I.E. has a couple of upgrades to help them adjust to the change in climate as well as fit in with the natives. They're also greeted by beautiful Autumn scenery, a bustling marketplace, and several quests to do in order to help out around the town and make some money on the side! It's rumored that if volunteers can't collect enough they'll be able to purchase something incredible but what exactly that might be is unknown.

✦ The sixth arrival ship makes its way to Zhautas. The featured section this month is the spa. It is a great chance to relax and melt away the stress of waking up thousands of lightyears away from home and all volunteers have ever known! Meanwhile, new volunteers are greeted by the cool Autumn air of Nevrione instead of the island most have grown familiar with the last few months.

November, 2018

✦ The newest group of volunteers lands in Nevrione. For the most part, things seem pretty peaceful in this woodland city! Preparations for the harvest festival are in full swing, a trip to the market might bring some good fortune to volunteers old and new, and Magnus Bane hosts a party to liven things up a little. There's also a plethora of quests for people to partake in as to earn some extra cash.

✦ The Harvest Festival is underway and marks the changing of the seasons in Nevrione. The local people give their thanks for a bountiful harvest by holding an orgy. Sex is, after all, an inherent part of the cycle of life. The Selva enhance the growth of plants that produce and aphrodisiac-laced pollen that helps everyone get into the spirit to celebrate.

✦ The seventh arrival ship makes its way to Zhautas. The featured section this month is the obstacle course. It is a great chance to get those muscles moving and reflexes honed after a long sleep in stasis. Meanwhile, new volunteers are greeted by the increasingly chilly Autumn air of Nevrione and told they just missed one helluva party. But it seems as if the after-effects of the "sex pollen" is still lingering so maybe you can still have your own fun!

December, 2018

✦ The newest group of volunteers takes up lodging in the Nevrione Inn yet again. Most people seem to be a little bit worn out after the recent Harvest Festival but that doesn't mean it's as relaxing as you might think. A spooky singing has been heard from the sublevels of the Nevrione Inn. Also, the Selva seem to be behaving strangely and causing a range of adverse emotional effects in locals and volunteers. Maybe you should see the resident therapist but- Oh, wait. Where did she go?

✦ A bonfire is hosted to mark winter's beginnings and the year's end. Burn away the old, they say, and usher in the new on its ashes. However, the odd emotional imbalances people have been experiencing take a sudden turn for the worse. Zenith puts the volunteer population on lockdown as its discovered that Shiori, the therapist gone recently missing, has lost control of her power of emitting pheromones as a result of the Harvest Festival. It causes both physical and psychological changes to volunteers and with even professor Quintalian being effected it takes a little while to sort things out and get everyone's hormone levels readjusted.

January, 2019

✦ Something triggers R.O.S.I.E. to glitch and her personality to take a strange turn. As a result, Professor Quintalian shuts her down and R.Y.U.O. takes her place as the active helperbot. He is a lot less personable than R.O.S.I.E. but has all the same functions and gets the job done.

✦ Things in Nevrione take a dramatic turn as Hoshiko strikes the Zenith Outpost in this location. The horn of Nevritas, an acient magical artifact, is used by the corporation in their panic to summon the guardian deities of this land. Unfortunately, the guardian gods determine that Zenith - and volunteers - are the actual threat and retaliate accordingly. While the majority of the population deals with them, Jeneviere selects a small group to help him rescue his sister whom Hoshiko is holding hostage.

✦ The eighth arrival ship makes its way towards Zhautas. The featured section this month is a museum with an emphasis of, you guessed it, sex. There are art classes to attend, galleries to peruse, and plenty to stimulate your mind after being asleep for so long. Meanwhile, new volunteers are greeted by the now frozen land of Nevrione. They get a little stuck thanks to a local plant but hopefully not for long! All it takes is a bit of intimacy to get free.
